Licensing and Ordination Process
“And He gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers…” – Ephesians 4:11
Welcome to the Licensing & Ordination Process
At Global Freedom Network, we believe in the divine calling upon every individual to serve the Kingdom of God. Our Licensing and Ordination process is designed to affirm, equip, and empower ministers who feel called to pursue a deeper level of ministry and leadership.
By offering formal ordination and licensing, we provide ministers with the authority, accountability, and tools they need to fulfill their Kingdom calling with excellence. We invite you to embark on this sacred journey as you take the next step in your ministry.

Step 2: Ministerial Assessment
What is Ministerial Assessment?
This is a comprehensive evaluation designed to assess your readiness for ministry leadership. It includes:
- Theological Knowledge: A written or online exam based on fundamental Christian teachings and principles.
- Ministry Readiness Interview: A one-on-one conversation with a member of the Global Freedom Network leadership team to discuss your calling, goals, and spiritual maturity.
- Character and Leadership Evaluation: A review of your ministry involvement, leadership experience, and personal character.
Purpose: This assessment ensures that individuals seeking licensing or ordination are theologically sound, spiritually mature, and prepared for the responsibilities of ministry leadership.
Step 3: Mentorship and Training
Ministry Leadership Development
All candidates are required to participate in a mentorship program and complete a series of training modules before ordination. This program includes:
- Personalized Mentorship: Paired with an ordained minister or mentor to guide you through your calling and ministry development.
- Leadership Development Courses: Tailored classes covering topics such as spiritual authority, ethics in ministry, preaching and teaching, and church administration.
- Ministry Development Plan: A strategic plan developed with your mentor to enhance your ministry’s impact and growth.
These resources are available online and in person to ensure accessibility and flexibility.
Step 4: Licensing or Ordination Ceremony
What to Expect at the Ceremony
The final step of the process is the ordination or licensing ceremony, where you will be officially recognized and empowered for ministry.
Ceremony Elements:
- Public Prayer and Laying on of Hands: Ordination and licensing are accompanied by the laying on of hands, symbolizing the impartation of authority and power from God.
- Ministry Affirmation: You will publicly declare your commitment to serve in your ordained capacity.
- Certificate of Licensing or Ordination: After the ceremony, you will receive your official certificate, which signifies your status as a licensed minister or ordained leader.
Note: Ordination ceremonies are held bi-annually or upon request, depending on the availability and scheduling of the leadership team.
